I can hardly believe that it has been an entire year since we launched Veterans to Christ. Since that day we have literally touched millions of people and have had dozens of conversations with non-believers all over the country. To say that it has been a blessing to be a part of such an amazing team would be a complete and total understatement. We started this page to reach hurting veterans and their friends and family and I can categorically say that we have been successful and most importantly, we have done so faithfully to the glory of God. God is good and we are so happy that He has allowed us to be an instrument of reaching people that so desperately need Him.
Though we are under constant attack, your words of affirmation and of thanks drown out the people who wish to see this page shut down. For every troll who spews their hate of God, 10 of you are thanking us for all that we do. We want to say, from the bottom of our hearts how much you guys mean to us. While all of us have “real jobs” and this ministry is a ton of work, you guys are the reason we keep waking up at 6 am to do this. We truly love all of you!
If you guys want to know how entirely amazing this journey has been, just look at the statistics for only a single year on Facebook (as of 2/22/2016 @ 8:45PM).
- 7818 Followers in one year – This is with almost no help from other Facebook pages. Facebook groups have been our biggest supporters and we love you guys for it!
- Over 5 million posts seen over the last year – I want you guys to really think about that. Over 5 million impressions have been had over the last year to the tune of over 3 million people. We had the population of a large metropolitan city view our content and oftentimes participate in conversations.
- Over 100,000 page views on our blog and 151 articles written – Our bread and butter has been the amazing content that our talented writers have been producing. Though our memes have been wildly successful, our stories have been the catalyst for most of our evangelistic conversations.
- Dozens of witnessing conversations and prayer requests – This is the reason why we do this. We have had conversations with nonbelieving veterans, atheists, Muslims, etc. We know that we save no one, but are quite pleased when God allows us to play a small part.
- $0 raised – Though we have had people reach out asking if they can support our ministry, for the time being we are still not accepting donations. If you want to help us, please prayerfully consider supporting either the North American Mission Board or the International Mission Board. They are doing more to push back the lostness in this present age than practically anyone.
You guys are amazing and we will continue to say that we have the greatest followers on all of Facebook. Please keep us in your prayers and tell your friends and family about us!
