All Souls Matter: Keeping Our Eyes On Christ

All lives matter Today, our collective relationships with one another in our country are in need of dire healing and strengthening. The most recent senseless deaths that are grabbing all the headlines are disturbing to say the least, but are we going to keep pointing fingers and choosing sides or are we going to forge greater efforts to truly get better as a country? Do we only blame those that are killing police officers? Do all lives matter? Do we blame race? Do we blame only police officers? Do we blame the young men for being in the wrong places at the wrong times? Do we blame guns? Do we blame society or environments? Do we blame the government? Are the churches doing enough? Do we blame Satan? There are so many questions that reference these senseless deaths and not enough positive answers. There are also too many individuals choosing to faithfully follow what’s being reported on television, radio and the internet which seems to influence their reactions before all or most of the facts are revealed.

The media has the biggest influence on these matters because it is the biggest remote control on the planet and it effortlessly programs many individuals daily. Information travels faster via social media which also means false reporting, confusion and misdirection are reaching individuals faster too. The media and social media are effective platforms for highlighting and disseminating information but most would suggest that we need certain people of influence to really help with dealing with these matters.

Where is the support from people of influence such as famous sports figures, famous wealthy individuals, actors/actresses, other entertainers or particular religious leaders? Most of them stay away from these matters because they want to protect their endorsement deals and other financial interests. Or maybe these matters don’t apply to them since the wealthy are not the ones being killed in these matters? Then there are politicians that take advantage of the situations to shift the focus off of their flaws while trying to gain momentum for their campaigns. So what must we do? We must address the color issue and the real cause of these matters so that we can help save more souls and so that our country can truly start healing and progressing as one people.

The collective focus of the current matters seems to be centered on white against black or black against white. First and foremost, there shouldn’t be any group of people labeled as black nor white. All of us should understand the definitions of the two colors. The definitions of the words are correct but labeling groups of people with these colors are grossly off the mark as these labels add to stereotyping, misdirection, false teaching and hate. We have conformed to these colors for far too long and it needs to stop now. All of us were created in the image of our Creator (Genesis 1:26 – 27) not according to a color. The use of color has been fused into the minds of man for hundreds of years and today we still haven’t moved away from it. This is another reason why the recent senseless deaths have many individuals focused on color. Although they were senseless deaths, we can’t lose sight of the souls that were lost and the souls that are responsible for those deaths. It’s very hard for most people to focus on souls when they are programmed to focus on color. This is another reason why we see so many disagreements with different “lives matter” movements. We have the right to support black, white, blue or brown lives matter movements but a few of the movements are too color centric, receive questionable funding and sometimes insinuate violence which adds more fuel to the fire. If we were all one color there still would be some type of lives matter movements while still neglecting spiritual warfare as the driving force behind all of these senseless killings. We have to take a different approach toward these matters or we will keep thinking the same way, reacting the same way, protesting the same way and fueling these long lasting issues the same way.

angels_demons Spiritual warfare is the root cause of these matters! It was initiated by Satan after he was kicked out of heaven (Revelations 12:7-12) and after the Almighty Father created and gave man dominion over all the earth (Genesis 1:26-29). After He gave man dominion over all the earth, Satan increased his hate of man. Why would I mention that? This is because Genesis chapter 3 starts with, “Now the serpent” which informs us that Satan was already cast to earth as punishment before the Almighty Father gave man dominion over the earth. Man was not given charge over Satan and his followers but the Almighty Father did show most favor to man rather than allowing Satan and his followers to have dominion over the earth. Since Satan’s first attacks on Adam and Eve, He has not stopped his assault on the children of the Almighty Father. He is ancient and treacherous as he has been tricking people for thousands of years and he is easily tricking people today.

Most of the people that Satan is tricking today are empty vessels. Empty vessels are not filled with the Holy Spirit thus they can be more easily manipulated than a filled vessel. He is searching for them so that He can manipulate, use and or destroyed them. He is constantly searching just like he was searching in Job 1:6-7, “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it”. Satan is tricking many people today into accepting senseless deaths if the killers are of the same race of their victims. This is true as we have witnessed uproars if the killers and victims are of different races but we also witnessed less than a fraction of the reaction if the killers and victims are of the same race. It’s amazing how some people seem to have their eyes wide open but their minds closed tight thus blocking out the root cause of these matters. This is why we must combat Satan with the help of Christ!

Christ Jesus is the most influential person in creation and I am recommending Him as the Remedy to these matters in our country. These senseless deaths highlight the need to help save more souls which would be fulfilling what Christ came to do in Luke 19:10, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost”. We have to help save souls with a sense of urgency because on any given day an empty vessel can be utilized for negative purposes. To greatly assist in preventing such matters as senseless killings, Christ gave us the great commission.

unity of believers Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18 – 20

Of special note is the fact that the Almighty Father sent Christ to save us and we must go forth adhering to the Great Commission to assist with saving as many souls as possible. The Almighty Father didn’t have to send Christ and Christ didn’t have to come! We are here today because both of them knew that there is a remnant that will continue to go forth imitating Christ and helping to fill empty vessels with the Holy Spirit. Are you within the remnant? All souls matter so let’s come together as one people and protest spiritual warfare through consistent obedience to the Father and calling on Christ Jesus to win these spiritual battles. Lastly, if you truly love your neighbor as you love yourselves then you would do more to let them know that their souls matter too.

Blessings
